How the human signal is measured.

The blind panel uses uploaded audio. Before review submission, the assignment API and player omit artist, title, artwork and existing results. The separate Suno Quick Signal experience does not contribute to these scores.

Listening evidence

Listening is voluntary and starts with Play. Heartbeats compare forward audio progress with server time. Hidden, muted, paused, accelerated, skipped and stale intervals do not qualify. A legitimate start requires 5 active seconds. At 60 seconds, a completed survey earns 5 SC. At 95% completion, it earns 10 SC total. Early exits remain in the funnel and earn no credits. This validates playback behavior; it cannot prove what someone heard through their physical speakers.

First-minute hold contributes 25%, adjusted completion 20%, replay intent 20%, save intent 15%, recommendation intent 10%, and overall response 10%. No/Maybe/Yes map to 0/50/100. Overall responses map to 0/33/67/100.

Before ten prior valid reviews, completion and ratings use raw observations. With ten prior reviews, completion becomes 50 plus half the difference between this completion and the listener’s historic completion rate; overall response subtracts half the listener’s historic deviation from 50. Values stay between 0 and 100. Historical observations must predate this version’s first assignment. Raw completion remains visible. Reliability weights currently remain 1 for every valid review; agreeing with other listeners never increases a weight.

A comparison percentile needs at least 20 other tested versions matching primary genre, language and minute-long duration bucket. Until then it says Collecting. The configured audience target is 60% core, 25% adjacent and 15% general discovery. The creator cannot choose reviewers. Segment details with fewer than five observations remain private.

Scores and versions

0–24 reviews: Collecting. 25–99: Provisional. 100–299: Human Tested. 300 or more: High Confidence. Public rankings require at least 100 valid reviews, creator opt-in and passing integrity review. Every result belongs to one immutable SHA-256 audio identity. Earlier snapshots remain available when results change.

Credits and fairness

A signed-in account receives one 300 SC founding grant. Campaigns cost 300 SC for 25 evaluations, 1,200 SC for 100, or 3,600 SC for 300. One active campaign per creator and one evaluation per listener/version apply. Self-review, blocked relationships, recent reciprocal review and recent credit-transfer partners are excluded. Negative and positive reviews earn equal credit. Daily limits and owner review provide further integrity controls.

Signal Credits are not money. Paid memberships, cash earnings, withdrawals, paid critiques and partner access remain disabled. No purchase can improve a score. These are compensated community evaluations, not ordinary streaming plays or a guarantee of commercial success.
